Madison Property Management, a local family-owned, full-service property management company, is hiring a Labor/Landscaper. This is a full-time, hourly, in person position. The shift is Monday- Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. This role will work with other landscapers to ensure the properties managed by MPM are kept up to applicable standards.

Responsibilities / Duties:
  • Maintains gardens and lawns, including regrading, mowing, trimming, pruning, taking, and weeding
  • Remove snow, ice, and leaves as needed
  • Loads and unloads equipment and tools into work vehicles
  • Remove large items from units after tenant move out
  • Deliver appliances and assist with installation of washer/dryers, fridge, and stove
  • Concrete patch work
  • Contribute to a positive team environment
  • Additional duties as assigned
  • Two (2) plus years of landscaping experience
  • Candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, able to multi-task and have good problem-solving skills
  • Must be physically able to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs
  • Comfortable using computers and smart phones preferred
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools including hedge trimmers, lawn mowers, blowers, and snow blowers is a plus
  • Driver's license and insured personal vehicle for daily use (MPM pays mileage).
  • Live within a 30 miles radius of downtown Madison, WI
  • Positive attitude and great interpersonal skills
  • Overtime is mandatory during August-September campus turnover, including weekend work. May need to work overtime in other months
  • Willing to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Assisting with snow removal is mandatory
