Cleaner

Madison Property Management, a local family-owned, full-service property management company, is hiring a Cleaner. This is a full-time, hourly, in person position. The shift is Monday- Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. This role reports to the Cleaning Supervisor and is responsible for cleaning the properties managed by MPM.

Responsibilities / Duties:

Cleaning, stocking and supplying designated common areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.)
Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
Respond to any emergency cleaning needs
Contribute to a positive team environment
Follow all health and safety regulations
Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

Proven working experience as a cleaner
Ability to handle cleaning equipment and machinery
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, able to multi-task and have good problem-solving skills
Comfortable using smartphones is preferred
Driver's license and insured personal vehicle for daily use (MPM pays mileage).
Live within a 30 miles radius of downtown Madison, WI
Positive attitude and great interpersonal skills
Overtime is mandatory during August-September campus turnover, including weekend work. May need to work overtime in other months
