Parts and Inventory Specialist

Madison Property Management, a local family-owned, full-service property management company, is hiring a Parts and Inventory Specialist. This is a full-time, hourly, in person position. The shift is Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. This position is responsible for assisting with ordering parts and managing inventory in the warehouse and at properties.

Responsibilities / Duties:
  • Receiving and stocking parts
  • Parts ordering
  • Inventory management at properties and warehouse
  • Assist with assigning keys to techs for jobs
  • Pull parts for vacant properties
  • Assist with truck stock
  • Pickup orders from home improvement stores (Home Depot, Menards, etc.)
  • Contribute to a positive team environment
  • Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of parts ordering/warehouse inventory management experience
  • Candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, able to multi-task and have good problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable using computers and smart phones
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various computer applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. (Previous Experience with Rent Manager is a plus)
  • Must be physically able to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Driver's license and insured personal vehicle for daily use (MPM pays mileage).
  • Live within a 30 miles radius of downtown Madison, WI
  • Willingness to learn and be flexible
  • Positive attitude and great interpersonal skills
  • Overtime is mandatory during August-September campus turnover, including weekend work. May need to work overtime in other months
